Help me spend $900

hey guys, as many of you already know, im getting my truck this weekend... im so excited!!!

my sig shows the mods that she already has, and Iv been thinking of getting some more already.... as of right now, I only have about $900 to spend though but its all good!!!

someone was very highly reccomending the Factory Tech Valve body.... it helps the tranny shift better??? well how much does this cost and where is best place to get it from? also, can I install myself??

after that, im not too sure if I wanna do anymore performance mods right off the bat... dont get me wrong, i will eventually do the e-fan and some other things.... but right now Im thinking of getting some bling bling...

well, not spinners or chrome her out.... just maybe a stereo system, shackles for rear, dvd head unit or something cool that I can enjoy...

GIMME YOUR SUGGESTIONS... what would u guys buy if you were me

chickenears/rem both sell the FTVB ~250.00. They are relatively easy to install. If you go to the track, get some slicks/and a ds loop with traction bars with the rest of the moola.

I would do the valve body and a drop kit. The FRPP Ground Force kit does a decent job and is under $200 I believe.

you have links to all supporting vendors!

Stick with the original Factory tech valve body!
Lowering shackles for the rear.
If you want a little more rumble from the exhaust than stock, MAC makes a catback for under $300 (easy install)

Another recommendation:
when you put in the ft vb, (easy esay job) also put on the 4x4 deep trans pan, it holds a little more (maybe a quart or 2) fluid. But it has a drain plug! which is money!

For Bling, nothing say performance more than a 2 pod A-Pillar Pod.!!!

Motorcity mods has real good prices.

I have a 2 pod (you have to paint all of them to match) with Trany temp and boost.
everyone notices it first thing. even people driving next to me notice it through the window

Id also go with the FTVB and the safety loop---should only be around $325 with tax/etc. for both. People have said very good things about the electric fan kit--that one's next for me.

Just make sure you have you chip reburned to the stock settings for the FTVB--Ive been told thats a MUST to get to to work properly....

good luck
