Winter Truck
As with Carpet Delete, I hope to get flamed right now. I am taking off tires, and ground effects for the winter. I am installing 16x7 steel wheels, blizzak tires, and 'back off' mud flaps
Also putting 300 lbs of sand in bed. It's still a 2wd F150, right

I bought my Lightning as my winter vehicle. (now its my daily driver since I sold the Camaro) I drove it last winter in a harsh Canadian winter and it was GREAT! I put a set of winter 16" steeeeeeeelies and some good BFG Winter slalom tires and it was great. Also added wheight in the back of course. You just have to use your head. All the power in these things are made under boost. Stay off the gas and you will be ok. Even when there is nothing on the ground oyu cant press the fun pedal since the cold pavement and tires will kill ya
Why take off the ground affects though?

I do the same thing but I don't take off my grounds. Though I did hit a snow back pulling out of the drive way and craked my side ground just under the door.
I live in Michigan
