What other Performance Mods can I do?
What other Performance Mods can I do?
I have a 2000 Lightning and it already has a few mods, but i dont wanna go overboard and make it a drag strip car because it is also my everyday driver.... i wanna keep it practical....
I have:
PSP 4lb lower pully
PSP chip
johnny lightning dual ram air
90 mass air
rancho bars
autometer guages trans, boost, air/fuel
clear side markers
billet grills
dual flowmaster 40 series cat back with 3 1/2in stainless tips
I was thinking of maybe electric fan, new throttle body and maybe headers..... would that along with what I have be a pretty complete setup? Am I forgetting anything??? what else could I do? should I NOT do one of them???

THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE OF THEM ALL!!!
Factory tech valve body with deep trans pan!
throttle body --$300-$300, HP gains ZERO, until you start making mad power.
Read up a little about,
homemade power coolers from under $175.00
Fans on the intercooler.
Phenolic spacer (I love it others don't)
Heat kills performance on a lightning. anything you can do to keep it cool, will result in big gains.

the stock exhaust flows good.
the bottle neck is the catalytic convertors.
The headers will draw more heat away from the engine, but if you are diong headers, may as well replace the entire thing and go with high flow cats.
If you don't have emission testing, you could get some O2 simms and delete the cats all together!
