I got myself a new Lightning. I mean Big Dog...He!!, It cost almost as much.

Since the new L isn't going to be available for at least 2 years from right now. I have been wanting a BigDog Motorcycle for several years, yet I was having trouble deciding to pay almost as much for a bike, as I would a Lightning.

I finally caved in after 2 of my close friends stopped by my house this past Sunday on their new 04 Choppers. I went by my local BDM dealer the next day and ordered myself one.

What ya think? The pic's are from a 02 BDM Pitbull a friend of mine owns who lives quite a distance away from me. I really liked the paint scheme he had on his bike, so I chose the same one for my Chopper.

The base coat is Black and the paint scheme is called Dual Ghost Flames in PPG Harlequin colors.

Good choice on the bike, you'll have a great time with it. If you really wanna be pimp you don't need two Lightnings, you need two choppers.

This is the style bike I ordered with the paint scheme from the Pitbull.

 

Big Dog Motorcycles makes so many different paint schemes and colors. They all look so nice, It's hard tp pick which one to get.

The pic's I posted are my first choice, I have about 2-3 weeks to chose the exact paint job I want, so anybody got any pics of other Big Dog motorcyle paint schemes they can post on here??

Thanks, It took me 2 yrs and some coaching from some friends to get me to buy one. I've been really wanting one, But, I've been trying to justify to myself, spending $33,000 for something I can't ride in the rain or cold.

All it really took was a couple of my friends stopping by my house on theirs and I was sold.

Didn't want to look like twins. He was nice enough to tell me to get whatever paint scheme I wanted, but, I decided to not be a copy cat.
