if you don't plan on EVER using the old cat back, grab a big hammer and beat it off.

1. (undue all the rubber hangers)
2. cut threw the clamps holding the mufflers to the Cat.
3. Grab that hammer/sledge
4. Beat on the muffler about 20 times and then make sure it doesn't fall on your head!

If that doesn't work, sawzall, or what I did, Chisel and smaller hammer to pry off the old pipe (split it down the middle) and beat on it again.

all in all, EASY

Removal was easy but putting it on was a diferent story. I had to loosen the where the mids meet the manifolds to get it to go on.

I used the trucks jack. Put it horizontally between the crossmember in front of the stock muffler and the on the lower welded lip of the muffler. "Raise" the jack so that it starts to push the muffler off, then pull down on the back of the muffler using the jack for leverage. Came right off after about three iterations. It is very heavy though. so like the others said, don't let it mash you in the face. Install is a breeze after you get the old one off.
