Thumbs up A good day at the Ford Service Dept

I have about 1200 miles on my 03 and after checking my camber with a rim mounted gage and finding it to be questionable I took it to the dealer and asked them to check it. Camber was on the ragged edge of tolerance but they found the toe in was way out and somdthing about cross-caster was also marginal. Anyway they used the toe in for justification to put camber kits in both sides and do a complete set up, reducing the negative camber down to .4 deg in the process. I got out for $0 and hopefully my tires will last a little longer. Anyone with a new Lightning, I would use any excuse you can to get the alighnment checked as early as possible.

Alignment is covered for the first 12,000 miles of the factory 3/36 warranty. I always take my vehicles in to have the alignment checked before the 12,000 miles…

Good to hear your dealer took care of you…
