I was looking at Sals all in one deal with all the parts to beef up the motor but was curious about just letting some shop do it. Lets hear your good and bad experiences. I would guess that they are alot of built bottom ends not done by a tuner since they arent near the midwest or west coast.

well I bought the kit from Sal, and I bought a new block, crank, heads from ford.

everything is at the machine shop now being balanced, bored etc.

I'm going to assemble it myself as soon as all of my parts get back.

later,
chris

If you dont mind me asking, how much do new heads cost because if I can get those then I wont have to worry about ejecting a plug also. I know you work for Ford and got a deal but what are the retail on those?

Mine was built at a racing shop and 10,000 miles later still running its best. I have JDM internals.
