Are you talking about the cloth or plastic part?
If its on the plastic part...

Try some WD-40 on a clean rag...
then with a wet cloth wipe the WD-40 residue off.

I did the same thing on the leather part. I went to the local grocery store and bought some stuff in a little yellow bottle called Carbona stain devils 3 ink and crayon remover. Its 1.7 OZ and took it off like it was nothing.

Simple green and a tooth brush?

You could also try a steam cleaner.

I have a thick Magic Marker black mark on my dash. You know that dash part that you stare at that goes around the steering wheel column. I have had it there since day one. It must have came from the factory that way. I have not yet even tried to remove it but it bigs the hell out of me. Maybe one of these days I will remember to try and remove it

I wouldn't try the acetone or nail polish remover as both like to eat at some plastics.

The WD40 will do it, Acetone is a bad idea
