Updated FFW T/T rules ... The Rangers are Back!!!

Check it out.

I hope this helps.

I am sure some will still not be happy.

I will have to buy new slicks . New rules, DOT only 12 inch tread (my QTPs are 12.5)

Oh Well. Good excuse to go to the Bogarts w/ a 30 inch tall tire.

I guess they didn't want us to compete. I make the assumption based on the fact that we have the only rear coil-over setup that I know of. NMRA here we come.

Vinnie,

I thought the 14.5 QTP measured 12".

Looks like a great compromise to me.

What people need to understand, is that the truck classes have not, and most likely never will evolve into what the Mustang classes are. You've got 6 or 7 different Mustang classes to cover all different "types" of cars, so they can all compete fairly. But for the trucks, you've got all the different "types" of trucks grouped into one class. So you wind up with a huge ET range, and a huge range of competition levels, from guys racing off the showroom new trucks, to full race prepped purpose built machines. And what that causes, is for there to always be some kind of conflict with the rules, because not everyone is coming from the same angle. So there will always be some that feel singled out, or feel like they are getting the short end, but in reality, you need this kind of compromise to keep the majority happy. See, that's the key. You CAN'T please everyone in these classes, so you have to please the majority.

I just checked the Hoosier site and you are right. For some reason I thought they were 12.5.
I guess I will wait on the 30 inchers for a while.

Thanks
VINNIE

Shouldn't have said anything to Vinnie! He needs those 30" slicks to go deep in the 10's!
