upgrading my entire engine

I want to upgrade my entire engine to this new diesel engine I found. It puts out a hella amount of horses and an ungodly amount of torque. The question is though, will it fit?

Cool

HI!... I wonder if K&N makes a filter for that?

I wonder if that engine builder has a problem with blown head gaskets?

I wonder if one of GREG EVANS "MONSTER BOXS" could hold up to that?

Yada Yada...I was going to use it, but couldn't figure out what size blower pulley to use...I think I'd need a big one for the Eaton!

I can see that conversation now:

Me: Gregg, I'm thinking of using this engine. What do you think?

Gregg: Well, let's see, after the torque converter that thing makes 11.2 million lb/ft of torque. Hmm.... Well none of the stock Monster boxes can handle it but give me a couple of hours and I'll get you set up.

A couple of hours later Gregg drops a Monster box on my head

dear god!

I cannot believe the size of that camshaft! Actually, I cannot beleive the size of that period! Aircraft carriers do not have an engine like that, they are all nuclear powered, no fuel driven engines. im guessing those engines are for huge cargo ships, tankers, etc? that may sound like alot of torque, but if you think about how much frieght a 800ft long tanker can hold, you need that much power. still, that is one massive engine.

I think you mean gallons per mile.

It sez the 14 banger consumes 1,660 gallons/hour. If the ship goes 20 MPH, that's 83 gallons/mile!
