Did anyone go to ford powerfest this weekend?

 

There were, I believe, 5 Gen2 Ls that were racing in the truck and SUV class along with a couple of Gen1s. I made the semis and BStabler made the finals, only to loose to an Explorer. I hate bracket racing.

 

I was there Saturday for a couple hours...........I saw about 5 or 6 gen 2 L's racing.............about 3 or 4 more in the show, as well as a Vortech Supercharged Boss 5.4. There were some sick a$$ Mustangs out there also..................Weather was pretty gloomy, but no doubt, the highlight of the weekend was riding up there as part of the Steeda Stampede............that was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!

Look forward to more stuff next year!!!

I was there on saturday... quickest time out of a Gen 2 I saw was a 12.4x

I was there also, but not to run. It's still pretty hot so that may have detoured some from coming, can't wait for the cooler air!

 

I was there too Saturday. Fastest Ls were two black ones running mid 12s. One with a very nice mean sounding exhaust note & REM sticker (Tim's?) and a very quiet one. Saw also a beautiful big F350 diesel rig with 24" & rubber bands running high 14s!

 

Let me correct you... 24.5" rims... ... that thing was sweet! Slammed... I loved it.

I saw that too..............I was thinking ALL SHOW NO GO.......It had enough go to spank a lot of unsuspecting rides.

Did you guys see the white L with the blue-gold flames..........I see him all the time in Pembroke Pines and Miramar...........I know he posts on here, but I forgot his username.............it looked SWEEEET!!!

That white L is a sweet paint job! Was painted at Fender Mender.
