First Impression of Lakewood Bars

Had them sitting on the bench in the garage for a week now. Finally got around to installing them this a.m. Used the #8 hardware as recommended by others. Real easy install, barely even got my hands dirty. Used three shims on the drivers side and two on the other. WOT 1-2 shift is greatly improved, no longer have that heavy "squat" that I had pre-install. Gotta love the partial throttle 2-3 chirps that the FTVB gives it. Overall I'm very satisfied with the ride quality. No noise...just a more serious attitude as she works her way through the gears. Great mod, glad I finally did it-Bill-

I put mine on two weeks ago and went to the track this past Friday. It was cold out (about 43 degrees) and I went thru the water box and did a small burnout on F1's and cut 1.9's all night on F1's. I was extremely happy considering the temps. It was hooking up very well and made a BIG difference. Almost broke into the 12's with just a chip too

Once you get them adjusted right, you will be happy with them
