Second time I get to run an 03 Cobra. The last one I ran was black Vert and so was this one. This one had a much younger driver.

The last one we ran from a dead stop and I put many cars on him till about 80 where he just hang back there not gaining or falling back till we shut down.

Tonight I am cruising with some friends to go grab a bite to eat and I see a car coming fast from behind swerving from lane to lane. As he gets closer I can tell it is a stang. So as he pull out from behind me to pass me I press the fun pedal to the floor he gets to my door then I start to pull away. I think to myself man this GT is hanging pretty good. He tucks in behind me and I see the round fog lights so I am thinking ahh an 01 Cobra no wonder he kept up pretty good.

He then gets beside me again and I see the hood then the spoiler. Damn this is an 03 vert Cobra!! He gooses it a couple of times then boom he is off. I floor it right away and by the time we shut down I was 2 truck lengths ahead. He wants to go one final time from a slower speed. We slow down to 30 and go on his go. I pulled him 3 truck lengths till we shut her down at 70 mph.

I then have to turn off so I get in the left turning lane and he gets stopped at the light next to me. He gives me a small wave and a thumbs up and I do the same. The poor guy had a look of disbelief on his face. I felt bad for him. He looked ummm well he looked confused LOL. He just kept staring at the Lightning badge on the front fender till the light went green

Now all this and I pull into the lot and my friend is laughing at me. I ask him what he is laughing at. He says "last week you told me you cant push the truck because you took the Chip out for the winter".

Oooooooops! I totally forgot I took the chip out last week when it got cold since it was a bit warmer this weekend. Ah well

Love the Cobra but had to be a cannibal tonight

 

Nice kill! I have noticed something, most Mustang guys always come back for more and more and more! I smoked an old Fox Body one night about 4 times in a row. Finally I said no more.

Great MULTI Kill

I did that to a Fire Hawk one night, I whooped his *** over
and over and over again. We kept slowing down to a nice roll
and we would both hit it, I took him everytime.
After I gave him a good 4-5 Whoopings we hit a Light.
Unfortunatly it was in the lower 20's that night so I knew I
was dead with the F-1's, the light turned Green he gave a little
Chirp then hit it and was gone, I just sat at the light spinning,
I got off and on it prob 4 times and was still sitting at the light
spinning, finally I laughed it, took my foot off the gas, and
continued on my way.
