FRPP GroundForce 1/2 kit, need some guidance, oh yeah get to keep the truck..
Hey everybody, turns out I got a beater tahoe to drive up at school in the winter so I get to keep the truck in sunny Florida, and that means the mod's have begun. I sold the 20's to a friend and bought a set of centerline lancer 18" wheels with some kumho rubber. Reflash, 4lber and intake will be going on in Thanksgiving. I looked at the new set of wheels and the gap is starting to bother me, the 20's filled it up much better so I am looking at lowering kits. The best cosmetic and price wise looking kit for me looks like the FRPP groundforce 1/2 kit. I did a search and just wanted some more updated opinions on the kit, how its holding up, and where the best possible price is on the net for purchasing it? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have the Ford Racing front springs and a set of 2" drop shackles out back. I love the look and stance. I forget exactly how I payed, but I know it was close to $120 or so. I get a discount on the stuff thru work. It is a nice kit if you ask me. I already had the shackles on, that is why I didn't use the ones in the kit. -Mat-
I think I have the same kit. Its a 2/4 for regular F150's. I like the kit very well. For the price you can't beat it. If you look in my gallery I have quite a few pics of the suspencion parts for the kit. Everything has held up well, no problems.
If I had it to do over again, I would stick with ground force if you just wanted it to be lower, but I would prolly opt for the Roush or Steeda kit for better performance. But the Roush is a bit more $$$.

Never seen something so abundantly available and so hard to buy. I'm probably going to my local ford dealer to buy the kit tonite after work. (yes I know it costs $175 or so but I'd rather be able to buy it conveniently than deal with some crap-*** website that barely works or looks like they spent $50 on it.
