Difference between '00 and '01?

Sorry, this has been asked a million times! I sold my '01 about a year and a half ago and am ready for another L. I'm trying to remember the differnces between the '99-'00 and '01-'02.

I can remember these differences:

1. Different wheels
2. 3.55 gears instead of 3.73
3. 360hp instead of 380hp (what was the difference?)
4. Tail lights
5. The "fix" needed to be performed

Any differences on the interior? Seat fabric or...??? What else did I miss?

My decision will most likely be made on what LOW mileage Lightning I can find for the "right" price!

Thanks all!

From: DETROIT, (formerly Eaton County, Michigan)
80mm MAF v 90mm MAF

upgraded 10 row intercooler on ;01-present
CUX1 computer program on 99
CUX2 computer program on '00-present

'03 rear leafs have a Clamp on the Rear leafs (makes them hook better, but puts the a$$ end up in the air another 2")

'01-present have overhead console, 99-00 don't.

I think '03 they added an oh ***** handle on the drivers A-Pillar.

they added other colors throughout the years.

Some other differences/changes to the 01:
Clear head and tail lights.
LED 3rd tail light.
6 CD changer indash instead of separate changer behind seat.
Grill is slat vs honeycomb.
Foglights mount differently.
Opening in fender for airbox is larger.
Lower intake is different, and bolt pattern for Eaton changed.

BTW, the 00s have the overhead console.

The thing I would check is if it's an '01, look at the tranny ID tag, it should be either 1J or 5X, the 5X is more desirable, if you find one with a 1J, spring for the warranty, they have had some problems.
