Question nittos?

ok guys, my truck is new, so that means of course the tires are too. but when the time comes, i want something else than the f1's. i was thinking about putting Nitto NT555 295/45-18R on the front, and Nitto NT555R Drag Radial 305/45-18R on the rear. Would this be an ok setup for everday driving? I like to push the pedal of course here and there, but it's also my daily driver. Any experience with these two particular nittos?

I love my 555Drag Radials for the trips to the strip, a little too soft for my tastes in daily driving, plus they pick up a crap load of pebbles and rocks. Im enjoying my Toyo S/T Proxies now, got them after my original F1's wore down. 8k+ and they still look new, only drawback is there fairly hard tires so you give a little in traction at those stoplight races.

the nitto combos sounds good.

but if its a daily you'll want something like the toyo's. longer lasting and better all year operation.

I use them on mine.

For rear traction the 555r's are great, can't comment on every day driving, but for the odd scream around town I lower mine to 24 lbs and watch others in the rear view.

Make sure you get plenty of practice on the F1's and nothing wrong with lowering the pressure when you feel like digging in.

D-Day
