Going to Etown this weekend to race at Real Street Eliminator Sat PM Session (3-10pm). Anybody interested?

Went to the Ford Fun weekend and I am hooked. Need to get into the 12's. I was close last week at 13.10 1st time to the track.

This weekend I am going to shave some weight and remove my hitch, spare, and bed door. Fill up with some race fuel and I hope to break into the 12's.

Saturday morning I plan on cleaning my air filter, installing the JLP air box, change my fuel filter, and install my traction bars before I go.

Any other advice any one can give to cut another .1 off?
Is anybody else going?

I was gonna come down in my Cobra, but looks like I won't have my chip back in time. I wanna save my truck for Cecil, so that won't be coming out. My Grand National need the radiator swapped. Looks like I am screwed like usual. Have fun! I might take a ride down to see some GN's run in the morning though. -Mat-

 

I'll be at Cecil too. I am really just going to get a few practice runs in. I only have 5 under my belt and I need major work on my reaction time.

 

Take off your front sway bar.

Its only a couple bolts and it helps forward weight and your 60 ft.

I will be at E-town tomorrow night(Friday) to watch my buddy run his MINT old Mustang.

I think I might have a change in plans. I am gonna see if the boys will be at JDM on Saturday. If so I will have them hold my chip there and I will swing by and pick it up and put it in in their parking lot or at the track. I will know more tomorrow. I won't have a chip for the Cobra. I do have a Diablo chip I may try out tonight and see how it works out. But it is looking doubtful. -Mat-

 

That sucks, Just got my JLP traction bars! I am going to install them tomorrow morning so hopefully I will break into the 12's. All I need is to get a set of slicks and I know I will be there.
Hope to see some of you representing the L community!
