I went to the dyno today to see if the new fuel pumps did anything. Well, they did something to say the least. If you dont know I have had problems running lean and pinging. Well I fixed the pinging so I went to the dyno to see if the new pumps would fix the lean. Heres the vid:

Now those numbers may seem a little low but check out the A/F ratios I ran:



(That blue one thats leaner then all the rest was done with the cutouts open)

So I think if I lean out my tune a little (maybe even more then a little) that I will be at the 400/500 club no problem.

A little info about the cutout: we were running out of time when I asked if I could make one run with the cutouts open so the tailipipe sniffer was in my actual tailpipes but most of the exhaust was coming before the mufflers through the cutouts So cutouts seem to lean out the mixture some, but not much. I have a vid of that run with the cutouts open that ill edit and post later tonight.

All in all im pretty happy

 

lookin good J15big, just wondering, what made you go to ATP instead of getting it done by byron at apex again, and what octane were those #'s made on? other than that, lookin good.

 

Well I just went for a dyno run, not a tune. The main reason I went there was because a friend of mine setup the appt. But once I got there I realized that they were much cheaper and the people seemed to be nicer to deal with. Plus, they let me get in a few extra runs for free, I doubt APEX would let me do that. But, for tuning, I still will go to APEX because Byron only tunes there or Mustang ranch...

The gas was mostly 91 with a few gallons of 100 mixed in...
