JLP customer runs 11.14@122.8

A 2002 Lightning that JLP recently built pulled an 11.14@122.8 with 16" rims, 18psi of boost and only 3/4 throttle the whole way down the track. It was being tested tonight.

The truck has a JLP block, heads, cams, and a KB blower. Very nice setup!

I would like to know how he knew the truck was only at 3/4 throttle.

Was he Autotapping and made sure the TPS was only 75%............

Sweet run regardless.....

Maybe it's first time at the track and it was a test run? Anyhow, that's good times for that scenario. Now, when are the WOT times coming...

We were trying out a new *Setup*tonight.. We did have it wide open all of 2nd gear and cut back to 3/4 throttle in 3rd. we launched it very easy with a 1.6 60 ft!. the customer was there to watch the run so i didn't want to push it too hard on that pass. the truck was at Full weight and is his *work* truck.. we will be having him @ SSOTN(along with some others) to make a full wide open pass. I'm sure this thing will go 10's easy.....his mph was a 123.8 too..... JL

No offense..but don't you have a bunch of customers running those times? I guess its still exciting every time you can say you created a truck that can do that for a customer! Congrats!
