Black weave material?

Anyone have a name/material type for the black weave material in our seats?

I'd like to cover my center console in it, but I can't seem to find out what it is (let alone where to get some)

Did some more checking...WOW is this stuff expensive. You have to buy 60 sq ft at a time and it is broken into 4 pieces of about 53 ft by 25 ft....the cost for the whole 60 sq ft = $872.00. I have a sample of the leather in route to my house so I will let you know how close it comes to matching. Might be able to find a group of people who want some and split up the cost...60 sq ft will go a long way

That's not it...

My shop had a sample and it doesn't match...

Notice how our weave sort of flares at each side, none of the others that I've seen do that.

Thats stuff is Leather? I would have never guessed that I would have guessed some sort of platic/cloth from the way it feels. Being hard and all.

Cool, My seats just went up in value LOL

What all are you gonna cover? I got a little bit left over from when I did mine, but I am not sure if it is enough as I haven't looked at it in a while. This what you are gonna do?

One more for you to check out

http://www.worlduph.com/emboss.htm

check out the BMW Mercedes and Porsche Early Basketweave
Leather or Black DomesticVinyl.

This sample too is in route to me so I'll let you know or you can let me know if you have already seen it.

As you can tell I'm looking to work on my interior also, but I want some of the same pattern in red too.

Good luck

Yup, that's what I'm looking to do...

I'd be happy to take the extra off your hands =) Any idea of the manufacturer or anything?

Just went and looked at mine that I had left over. Measured it and I got 10 5/8 in. by 19 1/2 in. left. Don't think it is wide enough for the console lid, but I'd still be happy to sell it to you if you got any other ideas for it.

No clue on the manufacturer, but I know it is the same stuff, not just a close match. I happened to give Paul @ REM a call when he was getting some for a custom application in his truck and he got some extra for me. You may want to give him a call as he may still be able to get it.

I think you meant to say that you need to get up off your *** and get a harness maker to make you some harnesses......

I have the narrower console and would be glad to take if off your hands as it would work for me. Also it will cover the mark I can't get rid of. PM me or email me and let me know how much
