Help!! Intake/Throttle body noise? (Update WOO WOO noise fixed!)

Ok guys...when I start my truck when its cold...it makes this fog horn type noise. Sounds like air trying to get by my big single blade throttle body. But it only does it when cold. WTF? I just adjusted my idle stop a little, too early to tell if that worked (Wont be able to test it till morning when its cold)

Have you guys ever had this problem?

Check all you hoses on the bottom of the rubber boot. Just curious which T/B is it?

whip:

Are you talking about the famous WOO WOO sounds that many of us got here last winter?; especially when the temperature went below 40 degrees...similiar to the sound of blowing air into coke bottle therefore WOOO WOOO. I am really being serious whip...this drove some of us nuts and is still unresolved...you can do a search for WOO or WOO WOO and there will be lots of threads.

Yup..apearently its the "famous" WOO WOO!!! I don't know how I missed seeing that posted before, but I'll search. Its embarrasing to remote start my truck in the morning and woo woo the whole neiborhood, or come to a stop light when she's still cold (cause I was too embarrased to let it warm up) and woo woo the car in front of me!!!!

I would just like to update anyone that has had this problem. I did adjust my throttle body, just enough to raise the idle a little. THe infamous Woo Wooo is now gone, and the truck sounds 200 times better at idle.
