Wrecked L on e-Bay

Thank goodness no one was injured. Mine is on my dresser in perfect condition, but could use a dusting.

It looks as if they took a heat gun to it and crushed the front end in...Pretty cool.

That is what I was thinking too. Is that true>??? It is really funny about the tire facing the wrong way too! One thing I do know though, is that I want one! -Mat-

Lightbulb

Check out the latest issue of FHM (the one with Halle Berrie(sp?)) on the cover. There's a little clip in it about someone who buys models and "wrecks" them like this one. Could be the same guy????? I'd check it out, myself, but my copy is at my fiance's house.

Its pretty easy to do that. All you need is a heat gun. Ive done it to a few models i built in the past.

I need to go buy another revell kit and replicate what my L looked like when i wrecked it

Revell makes a L model but not one thats wrecked like that. All you need to do that is a heat gun and some gloves so you dont burn your self.

I' am sure that truck is a fake. Deployed airbags look like this.

.

Those are a actual deployment from last March. If you look at the wrecked Lightning picture it looks as if the airbags are made of cut up bed sheets.I don't know how to transfer the pic off the e-bay site of the airbag deployment but have a look and you will see the differance.
