Very nice! Thanks for the article. I agree 100% that the figures are usually bogus. That's proven over and over again by tests showing actual RWHP and then figuring a rough drive train loss.

Some vehicles actually put out more HP than they're rated for. Rare, but some have. Case and point, my 1988 Mazda MX6 GT Turbo (owned it about 8 years ago). It was claimed at 145 but RWHP was somewhere around 150!

It will be great to see who all of the sudden loses HP and who gains it!

hehe Now will they use Dynojet SAE Numbers or Mustang Dyno/Super Flow Dyno ?

The good side is, if a car is manufactured right now advertising a certain HP rating, they'll actually have to make that HP.
