1st plug change - upper plenum off help ?

Going to do my first plug change. however, i am also removing my upper plenum for another project. does it help to do the plug change with the upper plenum off ? seems like there will be more room.

Won't help much - removing the EGR setup will, though. ...and THAT'S attached to the upper intake plenum.

It's REAL easy to do...
