SS grilles on a DSG???

Does anyone have the SS grilles on a DSG L? I've seen just about every other color with the grilles, but not DSG. I just dont know whether to go with satin or chrome (feel free to throw in your .02) Any pics would be appreciated.

I have a DSG L. After much thought and talking to many I decided satin or chrome was NOT the way to go with the DSG.
Would throw the whole look of the truck off. IF I were to ever go with the SS grilles which I do feel would look great I would have the SS grilles powdercoated say the stock L grille color or possibly black.

Well said. It sounds as if we both share the same concerns...I appreciate your idea on the powdercoating gimmick-that does sound interesting...

The SS grille would look great but again not in satin or chrome.
to have a set powdercoated would be very little $. What's held me back is the pain in the *** install of them.. Hey have you shortened your stock antenna yet? I bought a slick billet antenna and then decided not to use it cause the billet just did not look good with the DSG. I shortened the stock antenna (easy to do) and it looks very good now and proportioned just right. I cut it down to 24". reception is still very good. For a pic.. http://www.auffarth.com/LightningSpecs.html

Actually the DSG's would look bad-*** with grilles that were powdercoated in Anthracite. It's a dark, dark gray that is almost like a 'light' black. Check it out if you look into powdercoating them.
