Hey guys, I am new here but not to the performance world. I am thinking about purchasing a new Lightning and I would like to see what mods you are running and how much power you make with those mods. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome. Im shane I have a 2000 Lightning. They are a real fun truck! You bring up the question again, how fast do you want to go? Stock they run mid to high 13's. You can put a chip and filter in them and run low 13's. You can change the crank pulley out and make more boost. (stock they make 8 pounds) I did a chip, filter and a 4# pulley and went 12.6. You can get a shift kit for quicker firmer shifts, and you can get exhaust if you like sound.
jdm makes a real nice Silver Bullet exhaust. All I can suggest is keep doing what your doing and do your homework b4 you mod. But these trucks are real easy to mod. Have fun.
