How well are the new lightning holding up with higher mileage? I have found quite a few 99 and 00 models dipping into the 13-16k range with higher mileage and am a little worried that they might end up requiring expensive repairs. I am pretty mechanicly inclined, but I am not sure how hard it is to work on these trucks. Are parts really high?
I need a new truck/daily driver as my current 98 GMC with a 350 is damn near at 200k. I hate to get rid of it as it has only had a few small repairs and very little money spent in parts over the last 3 years. (It does have a Ford fuel pump in it)
To sum it up I want to know if they get really raggedy with mileage. I am a long time mustang owner and I know the build quality of the newer stangs is lacking to say the least when the miles start to rack up.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

I know there are at least two people here over the 100,000. Sauvy is one of them. He has a built motor in his now but other than that I believe his truck has performed flawless other than routine maintenance. If you take care of your truck she will take care of you.
Most of the trucks I am looking at have between 70-90k on them. I really want one but kind of would like to find out the price of the holly blower and get a crew cab 4x4.
Thanks for the input, keep em coming.
