11 Second club baby!!!!!!
Well all I can say is what a damn good weekend!
Got to the track around 9ish. Let the truck sit and cool down good. Swapped the back tires. Drained the 1 gallon of fuel I had in it out and put some of JDM's "special blend" in the tank. Do my burnout with Tommy's awesome Line Lock kit(started to do it in reverse, opps). Pull to the line and go. Truck is off and gone. 1.658 60' 11.61@116.58!!!!!! I am still smiling actually. Go to make another pass. Truck is a lot hotter this time and traction isn't as great. 1.71 60' with a 11.77@115.52. Still happy as hell. Go to make my third run. Hoping to improve. Track doesn't let that happen. Spins off the line 1.796 60' and then the truck get VERY loose at the 8th mile so I let out and coast to a 13.00 at a blistering 78.78MPH. Oh well, I used my head and rather then wreck my truck I lost a pass. So I call it a day. Went back to the track undecided on whether or not I was gonna run. Figured I was happy already why risk breaking. But I said screw it. Changed the tires let her sit for a bit and then went and made a pass. Truck was warmest it ever was, close to normal temp. Did a nice burnout. Got a great launch! 1.597 60' and the truck went down the track perfect to an 11.53@115.68!!!!!!! That was the first and last pass of the day for me. Boy am I happy. I would also like to thank JDM for all the help they gave me at the track and getting my baby running great!
Oh yeah, all times were done on my street program. At full weight which was 4,992LBs! Stock Long Block.
Beat that. -Mat-

WAY TO GO MAT, CONGRATS ON YOUR AWESOME ET

It was a pleasure meeting and B/S-ing with you,
it's a shame we all don't get to talk more when we meet up
at the track, but it seems everyone is tied up getting our trucks ready for that ultimate run. At the end of the long day, and after
spending $40.00 in fuel for the ride there and back, and another
$40.00 worth of race fuel (to make one 1320 ft pass) Not to mention getting up at 4am and getting home after 8pm,
When I stopped to pick my kid up and was asked if it was worth it, all I could say was, HELL F.UCKING YA IT WAS
11's -------------> YA BABY.........
You got some extremly fast #'s there Mat, with plenty more on tap. CONGRATS AGAIN

Congrats Mat on some smoking runs. Nice meeting ya, but like Rob said, its hard to talk when your trying to get your truck ready to run. And I can't speak for everyone, but putting the street tires back on puts me in a terrible mood, I guess because I know the fun is over
Because Iam happy as hell putting the slicks on
