Thumbs up Line lock

Thanks Tom for superior customer support and service.. http://www.outrageousperf.com/ I ordered the 15th and is was at my front door on the 17th. Installed the the line lock last night and it works like a charm...

fill me in fellas.. what exactly does this do, or whats it good for, and would i need it?

Press a switch inside the cabin and it locks your front brakes.

You use it to do a burnout

You can do the same by holding the brake, but the line lock saves a lot of wear and tear on your rear brakes and is easier on the drivetrain.

I think I will be ordering one sometime soon.

ahh, that is very cool!

but burnin' up $600 a piece rubber does not appeal to me, lol.

looks like a cool little mod for the strip guys to have though, tommylightning!

What I do is back into the waterbox and the pull forward just a little. I then apply the brakes and push the switch on and then look at the indicator light to vertify the line lock is energised. I then release the foot brake so that only the front brakes are "locked". I do my normal John Force burnout then release the button and the L moves forward towards staging....
