Shuddering problem, need advice

My truck is shuddering at mid throttle *sometimes*. I don't know if it's a specific gear or not, but it seems to be most common when going from 0 throttle or 10% to 40-60% throttle. Has happened from a stop, and on highway. Idle is pretty normal, and sometimes it doesn't do it.

I've ruled out 'bad' gas', but that's about it. Where should I start?

what they called it, something to do with the egr.

Well... My EGR equipment is still all connected, but is turned off in chip... Would that sensor still matter considering those facts?
