So Close....

11.07@120.98, 11.08@119.68 and 11.03@120.81. Well I guess I would make a good bracket Racer.
First off, I am VERY happy with the L and KB and the JDM tune. To run an 11.07 right out of the gate was phenominal.
All my runs were made at the weight of 4720 w/ Hoosiers QTPs 28x14.5x16. These are too small and the compound is harder then the true slick. My tire durometer had my QTPs at 43. Were Dons Slicks were at 34 ( The lower the # , The softer the compound).
This was my downfall as I spun every run (60 fts were 1.63, 1.61,1.60) as good as they are they needed to be mid 1.5s at least.
Also with the 28 inch tire (compared to the 30) I was losing gear.

I am not complaining. I knew the tires were my weak link , but I wanted to run a 10 on them, and I will.

All in all I had a blast, It was great seeing everybody again and I got to run the tree again and made a pass on my go-ped.

THANK YOU JDM FOR HOSTING THIS DAY

VINNIE

BTW- I told you Rob02lightning would run an 11.

Great runs V Congrats on your new best times. 3 of them as a matter of fact.

All the participents must wear a helmet and proper safety equipment just like any other test and tune session.
I guess a firesuit and a rollbar are in your immediate future eh?

10'S ARE FUN

Almost forgot to ask, How did Don do?

CONGRATS ON YOUR PERSONAL BEST PAL
I'm glad I was there to see it, simply amazing.........

As you say V,
No one has been so lucky to pick it up go straight to the track
and run 10's without any initial tweaking.
But Got Dam did you get close with (3) 11.0's
I have all 3 on tape BTW, it'll take some time for me to get someone to convert them to Vid,s, but you'll get a copy
when I do

You did AWESOME V,
it was an Awesome Day
and JDM did a great job on your Build,
You have many 10's in your future

And of course once again, Thanks
I love hanging with you guys
