Shackles....pictures

I'm thinking of adding the 2" shackles, and i know there was a thread earlier on which ones to go with....but can any of you guys with JUST shackles (no new springs, shocks, etc) show me some pictures so i can see just how the truck looks when they're on....i've got an 03, so the back end is up even an inch higher than previous models (for increased payload).....thanks guys....

I haven't taken any pictures yet but I put Western 2 inch drop shackles on my 03 last weekend and I'm pleased with the results. The car sits exactly 2 inches lower measured at the rear bumper. It sits nearly level but barely higher in the rear.

I have an 03 and have down the 2 in. shackle. I must say I wasn't very pleased. I cant really tell that it is any lower. I do however have my hitch and spare removed. I'm sure if they were back there the truck might be a litlte lower.

Hey Potac nice to hear from you again. For the license plate I used the stock mount turned upside down. I put some of the fuzzy side of the self adhesive velcro on the mount for cushioning and then went down to a local hardware store and got some real long nylon washers, bolts and wing nuts. Just threaded it through the lower grill and then attached the plate.

If you go through my online gallery I have a picture in there. The best part is that it removes in a minute if you are concerned about airflow to the i/c radiator on a hot day.

BTW did you ever get the FTVB installed or the bedrug?

Great pics guys. I bought some belltech 2" shackles not too long ago...I have an 03 so I might should have gone for some 3". I guess the 2" can hold me over for a while.
