Rob_02 goes 11.81 ""YA BABY""

Way too many people to mention and Im not good at names,
so for now let me say, I really enjoyed meeting ALL OF YOU
The L community is truly awesome, and today that was once again shown in a big way, with the help and team work of
EVERYONE.
Of course a very special Thanks To Jim, Sean, and JDM
along with anyone that helped put this together.
The Captain, Vinnie and Gator hooked me up in a big way,
I am sooooooooo in love with V's Monster (and a Beautiful Monster it is) I love that big guy. Gator hand delivered my new Nitrous brackets he made me (AWESOME, simple awesome)
I absolutely Love them, and once again The Captian was there to
not only help, but to do more than me in prepping my Lightning.
THANKS CAPTAIN, YOUR THE BEST.
It was a pleasure spending the day with all of you, and I'll remember it forever.
(I believe sean has my run on tape too) YA BABY.........

Now about that run:
It wasn't pretty, a matter of fact it was the scariest ride of
my life, how I kept it between the lines is a mystery to me too.

Since I was stuck on 12.0, I decided to push the bar today and run 6lbs of pulley and 75 HP of Nitrous, then I made the mistake of running the Hoosiers with the least amount of air I ever tried,
16LBS. All I can say is if the Vid ever surfaces, you'll see 1st hand what happen. First that dam hopping was back stronger than ever leaving the line, then the SOB went into the wobbly chicken at 100MPH and I was going from one side to the other,
BUT REFUSED TO GET OF IT
Everyone was talking about it, not pretty at all.
Needless to say I have a clear hopping issue that must be delt with immediatly and unfortunatly the shifts were once again
at 6k with.

So to answer your next question, No I did not make a second pass, and until I "at least do the VB Mod and new Bars" I will not.
It's clearly not worth loosing my Motor or tranny over.

The Nitrous once again proved to operate flawlessly, and I'm
extremly excited on my time, I truly didn't expect such a great number..............

TIME TO CELERBRATE

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU......................

Congrats on the pass Rob, I've felt that sliding feeling with slicks aswell but never to that degree. Glad to know that you made the run safely though and it's true that it isn't worth it to go again untill everything is right.

WTG Rob ... I'm sure there is much more when
you get it figured out. I have travelled that "wobbely"
road and is REAL scary.....
