Ok so I took delivery on my 03 Lightning not more than 8 hours ago. It is now 1:30 AM, CST. I have driven my new L five different times, having NOWHERE to go. I have come up with excuses to run errands, went to the local grocery store three different times just because I "forgot" some items. Ok at this rate I will have 75k miles in 6months. Anyway, like i said its 1:30, and I'm off again for a little spin. I NEVER have done this with any of my other Fords I've owned. Guys, I think Im in love....Now if my girlfriend would just understand...

P.S. the night before i got my L i didnt go to sleep until 6:30 AM, also had a job interview that same day at 9:00 AM DOH!!!!

 

I know exactly how you feel. The night before I took delivery of mine I don't think I slept more than 20 minutes at a time. Now just wait until you start trying to keep it clean.

P.S. dont get me started on keeping it clean, ive already polished off the little bit of road grime and bugs that were on it....just barely anything, but these trucks look SO GOOD when they are clean....time to invest in zaino....

Its alway's fun to play in the L. When my dad still had 02 his and I was back at home, My sister, Dad and I would go run the twisty road and the 1/4 and bring it back. It was good times.

Congrats on the new L, I remember when I first got mine home...I too took countless trips to anywhere I could think of just so I could drive my new truck. The L is still the only vehicle that I've driven that is actually fun at all times to drive
