You can't beat the sound quality of an eclipse. The model you have has a measured distortion of only 0.013%. Most other brands are well above that.

Ecomm -
Eclipse Commander Advance (MSRP $400), a hands-free system that uses voice recognition to control your audio, cell phone, and vehicle electronics. The new Commander Advance (E-COM) system has better speech recognition along with several technology enhancements, such as the MP3 Harmonizer Circuit that decompresses and restores much of the sound quality lost in MP3 recordings.

Is really nice if you have the $ for it. The speakers they make are great too, but unless you are just an audiophile stay away from their multichannel amps. They don't provide enough bass signal for most listeners to really be happy. If you love music the way it was supposed to be heard (ex-production quality sound) then buy all eclpise. They produce the most studio quality sound on the market next to one other brand that is outrageous to buy.
Oh yeah and find a head unit other than eclipse that has the abilty to do all this for 290 and it must be stolen!

If you have someone who can make them fit without loosing alot off space then get the 10's. They will have more cone area hence will be lounder because they can move more air. They will need more power than the 8's though. 4 10's is theoritically equal to 5 8's. The 10's will hit lower too.

I would advise against trying to put 4 subs in a cab of a truck. There just isn't enough airspace to allow the subs to work effeciently. You would be better off going to two high quality subs and giving them good clean power. The Eclpise Aluminums are good subs, but there are also some better ones available. I would go with a JL Audio 500/1 sub amp, a JL Audio 300/2 front speaker amp (forget about using rear speakers), two Elemental Design ED0 10" subs and some CDT HD62 front speakers with your choice of head units. With careful shopping this should put you at about $2000.00. This system will not only be different than the majority, but also kick the chit out of the majority of systems. Good clean loud music.

I did something similar, but took it a step farther. 300/4 instead of 300/2. 6 1/2 in the doors, 5 1/4 and tweeter in the kicks. 75x2 to the 6 1/2's and 75x2 to the components in the kicks. I did focal up front, but CDT would be just as good..
