Ok my lights have been acting screwy for the last 2 yrs. I am not sure how they were the day I picked the truck up but, a little while after I noticed that only the left side(on-off buttons) were lit up. It was like that for well over a yr. Then the left side went out and the right side lit up. Then a short while after both sides went completely out(none of the buttons were lit). Now just recently both sides have been lit up(all the buttons are lit). So can someone shed some light on this>??? It is really strange if you ask me. Is there slight wiring problem somewhere>??? It isn't that big of a deal but they do def look better when all are lit up. Has anyone else experienced something like this. Sure seems odd to me. Thanks, -Mat-

 

i havent noticed any problems, but ill pay attention now!

 

Take it in before the warranty is up, they're both suppose to be on , and unless they bother you, you might as well get it fixed for free. I'd hate to think that something is loose or might ground and you suddenly have an electrical gremlin to chase. Just my .02

 

Both mine are on but in my F350 you an push the ON and Coast button at the same time and the horn honks doesnt do it in the Lightning the other f350 or the explorer.

 

Mine didn't work from the factory. Had to get it fixed. I would do it while you still have warrenty, I hear those little switches are big bucks!

 

One side went out on me - I had it fixed under wtty

I just thought it was weird how they come on and go out then come back on. I will take it in to the dealer. I wonder what they are gonna say if they pop the hood. -Mat-

 

By left side and right side do you guys mean the buttons on the steering wheel? Left side being the on/off and right side being the Set/Accel/coast buttons?

Come to think of it mine dont lite up at night. I dint know they where suppose to lite up. Or maybe they do and I just didnt notice. Urrr I better take a look at that
