My Diablo tune was at 12.2 AF,
JDMs superchip is at 11 AF,

This is incorrect, timing will vary as much as a couple degrees. The amount depends on how much matierial is removed from the block and the head. While the tensioner will take up the slack, it will not correct the cam timing. Another disadvantage in this whole stiuation, it what the right bank does the left bank does opposite. When you deck the heads and block, your right bank will advance but left bank will retard. Currently their are a few companies working to remake the timing sprockets that SVO/FFRP made about 5 yrs ago, until then you run around with 1 bank retard 1 bank advance.

While a Lean A/F ratio can cause detonation, so can too much timing or even too hot a plug. Its possible to have detonation and still have a safe A/F ratio.

My head was lifted prior to my custom dynotune with Willie Figeroa. When I retorqued my heads the problem seemed to of went away until last week. Now it blows antifreeze out at 10#s of boost and up. Thanks ...

Steeda has a gear kit for about 80.00 that you can time the cams on a 2V motor. I haven't seen it and don't know how it works.

L&M racing engines 215-675-8485 or No Limit Race Cars 404-366-3037 also sell a cam gear kit but this is the real deal. It cost 525.00 but you can advance or retard the cams in 2* increments and it looks like you can go 8 or 10 degrees either way.

My block has been milled lightly and the heads are going on there second mill job so this mod is on the list.

Thanks Dale, I knew that they were coming out but didnt know they were already on the market. I had a SVO/FFRP Set yrs ago but sold em, didnt need them at the time and didnt realize they would be discontinued for several yrs.
