How often do I need to clean the intercooler and change the S/C oil?
Couldn't I use some type of synthetic oil for the S/C or does it have to be "Eaton Supercharger oil"?
Why does the Intercooler get so dirty?

Does Ford know about this problem about oil going where it shouldn't? and if it has been happing since the 99L's why haven't they fixed this problem? I have an 03L and after seeing this I feel really dissapointed, what should I do?

Which of the listed bolts are the torque to yield bolts that must be replaced?
Is this the ones:
Intercooler
(2) N606500-S100
Is there any other bolts that should be replaced?
Also from the guys that have done this, which gaskets need to be replaced??
I know you can reuse some of them but which ones get damaged to where they are questionable??

The lower and upper gaskets to the intercooler are metal (read: some feel that metal gaskets dont need to be replaced; replace them if you want to). The gaskets for the upper plenum, throttle body, and EGR are all designed with fibers that crush so you should replace them. As far as torque to yield bolts, if they are the ones you torque and turn an additional 90 degrees, then the throttle body uses them. Also the upper plenum bolts may be TTY.
I just replaced the gaskets so here's the part numbers on those:
Lower intercooler: 1L3Z9462BA
Upper Intercooler: 1L3Z9H486BA
Upper intake plenum: XL3Z9L437CA
EGR: F6TZ9D476DA
I didn't need to replace this one but here it is anyway...
Throttle Body: F81Z9E936AA
I got my parts for half the price most dealerships are charging here Genuine Ford Parts
