I'd go with the Zex kit. Easy install, great quality, and sweet piece IMO.

I think the big difference between the two you mention is that NX is known for their wet kits and Zex for their dry kits. Are you looking to run one type in particular?

I would assume your just using it to cool the intake charge for your SC, if so I would recommend the dry kit as safer.

I have a Zex kit on my Mustang and I like it. Simple to use and it works off bottle pressure so you won't be dumping too much fuel if the bottle pressure is low. Easy install and it works off the TPS so there isn't any mechanical switch to mess with. If you do a search on the corral you'll find about a million threads about nitrous, and I'd bet there's a whole bunch of them that are Lightning specific.

Zex has a nice wet kit out now. I think I am gonna spray a 55 shot mainly to cool down the charge next season. The kit I think I am going to go with is the Zex wet kit.

You should be good to go with that kit if you do the smart things when getting NOS, Plugs/ booster pump etc.

Good luck with what ever choice you make, Jason

I run the Zex 55/65/75 HP Wet Kit
Great set up, extremly easy to install, looks great,
works flawlessly, and is a mere $500.00 complete

Plenty and all the installation pics in my gallery
if you need a look.

I ran my (2) 12.0's with 4lbs plus 65 HP jets.
I tried 75HP and 6lbs at a diff track, but only got a 12.3.
This Friday I will run it with 6lbs and 75HP to start,
then if I get my 11, I'll back it down to 4lbs and
see the difference.

100HP would be considered too much on a stock block,
( although I'm thinking about trying it )
I would'nt recommend any more than 75HP to be safe,
some 100HP users have blown up stock blocks
(then again, so have 75 HP users)

I'd got with nitrous express kit.

I was planning on going the nitrous route and was gonna spray 100 on my 4.6l. I still might go nitrous. I have a friend doing a 150 dry on his 4.6l w/ the stock lowerend and he hasn't blown it yet. I guess it's all luck if your engine is gonna hold or if it ain't.

A small shot of nitrous will help cool down the charged air. You can always do a small 35 or 50 shot just for that.
