Superflow Dyno

Our SVTOA chapter had a dyno day on sat and the place had a Superflow dyno . They said they had a dynojet conversion but them #s were way off(stock Ls were putting down 400rwh with the conversion ) . The Normal Superflow #s were closer . A stock 03 put down 352hp 417tq .
My Truck put down 410hp and 510Tq

Does anyone know anything about the superflow #s versus the Dynojet???
Thanks

Depending on how it is optioned, this is the best chassis dyno IMHO, gving more real world abilites. It can be equipped with eddy brakes or even better a water brake absorber. And it can also accept all the same instrumentation that the superflow engine dynos can for things like lb/min airflow, fuel flow, etc, uses the same software even. As to why I think this is important, you can control the rate of acceleration with the absorber, you'd be amazed how much HP just the inertia eats if the engine is allowed to accelerate quickly like you will see happen with enough power on the inetria only dynos such as the dynojets. I have seen over 150hp difference on an engine dyno making 2 back to back pulls, 1 at 300rpm/sec, one at 1500rpm/sec(this is the one making less hp). Now to equate that to real world, your acceleration rate in first gear is quicker than any othe right? So guess what, the power you get at the wheels is less, and as each upshift happens, you're getting more to the ground, since you are wasting less rapidly accelerating the rotating mass of the driveline. If you have good track data on the RPM rate, you can do the same rate on this dyno. And if you put all the instrumentation on, you can get good data on things like BSFC.
