I have Hoosier Slicks on 16" rims.

They have RACING tubes and are Screwed to the rim.
then balanced.

TAKE IT IN AND HAVE THEM DO IT.

get inner tubes (racing ones are much stronger)

Are you running a new setup?? Mine spun the first couple times I was at the track. After about 10 passes they completely quit spinning.

No tubes, no screws........

Try using tubes with no screws first. Adding tubes will DRAMATICALLY increase grip of tire to rim without using screws. I've had slip issues in the past with tubeless tires on rims, and just using tubes always solved it, I've never had to use screws as well.

I'm using tubes, and have from day one. I have never had any problems with them spinning.

Don, I don't use screws in mine. They did spin on the rim at first, but then they stopped after awhile. I had Hoosier in CT. mount mine, and they said they would stop after awhile, it's very common.

Sal, good tip on the tubes, I am not a fan of screws either.

If you do decide on screws, it is very important to line up the outside screws with the inside screws. In of the words, the twelve o'clock screw on the outside must line-up with the twelve o'clock screw on the inside.

well i've had 2 valve stems rip right outta the tube due to tire spin. i will not go tubeless. i'll be screwing the tires to the rim this winter. i believe moroso sells a screw kit. so any performance shop should be able to get them.
