What kind of performance should i expect from a stock 2001 lightning w/ a rem 6lb chip filter and pulley combo and a ftvb
I would like to find out 1/8 and 1/4 mile times and rwhp and torque.

 

It should be explosive.

My truck is an 01.

I had the 6 # lower, TB, Chip, Filter, power tube and FTVB. You will need a driveshaft safety loop and some form of traction bars.

I ran the 1/8 with drag radials 8.12 @ 87.5 with a 1.84@60 at Imokolee

I ran the 1/4 with drag radials 12.70 @ 108 with 1.84@60 at WPB

This is done in the summer with the heat and humidity of Florida. No real cool downs. I was pretty much running every 30-45 minutes.

Paul at REM has a great chip for the 01 with a 6# pulley. Ask him for the Diablo File that was used in my truck and you wil be very happy.

Filter Chip n 4lb has got me numerous 12.7's + 12.8's
with no Tranny, Suspension, Exhuast, or Cooling Mod's

Add a little juice and you can really have fun
