Cool Picked up the 03 HD today.

Wife and I made the trek this morning to pick up our two tone 03 HD.

Spend the rest of the day De-Modthraxing the 01 Lightning in preparation for transfer. Items removed included, JL air kit, FRPP TB, driveshaft loop, QA1's, Ruslow Springs, Hotchkis sway bars, panhard bar, 4# lower pulley, FTVB, JLP traction bars, clunk washers, gauge sending units, chip, and Bullitt fuel door. Only items left are e-fan, water pump, gauges, and stereo head unit. Gonna miss the spirited cornering the Lightning but it was time to move to something different.

Initial thoughts on the HD:

The stock upper pulley is HUGE in comparison. Easily fixed.

Don't really care of the steering wheel. The four spoke wheel is nicer and more comfortable IMHO. May just retrofit.

The exhaust will have to be moved to in front of the rear wheel so as to allow for panhard bar and Hotchkis sway bar. Haven't researched the availability.

Garage clearance is REALLY close. Will have to monitor and be ultra careful.

Time for a few Brewskis..
Bob

obigatory image.

How should I react?

Here is my reaction for St. Louis Harley: Bob you are a wothless traitor to the L brotherhood, i never want to see you post here again, and you name is now forever bathed in infamy. May you rot in hell for abandoning the lightning, the greatest vehicle to ever see the light of day

Real Me speaking: Congradu-phuckin-lations. Bling that mofugga to the moon sir. I hope you enjoy your new ride and still continue to grace us with your knowledge.

The correct spelling of this popular abbreviation is "Congrats"

If you are going to come to this country at least learn the language.
