How do you pop the Head Light out ?
I sometimes see people pop a Head Light out at the track
for better air flow to the filter.
Is this an easy task ?
Any pictures ?
Any opinions ?

Where the red arrow's are pointing to the pull tab's (green for your viewing pleasure at home) just pull them (if they have never been pulled they will have dust build up, so might be harder the first time) once they are pulled, you can then disconnect the wireing harness and pull out the lamp assembley!
Put a piece of masking tape entirely across the
front fascia piece below the light so you won't
scratch it with the swiveling attachment when
you put it back in ... (Don't ask HOW I know this
little factoid!!!)

don't forget to pop out the signal lens first.(held in with a screw) On my 01 lightning this was neccesary to "pop" out the larger lens.

This modification really won't help you at all.... there is a big coolant resevoir right behing the headlight. This idea really works well on Mustangs though. For the effort it takes to get the headlight BACK IN, I wouldn't even bother messing around with this.
By the way, you do not have to take the side marker lights out. The headlight housings can come out on their own - no tools required. They are a nightmare to get back in... I rememeber sitting in the driveway trying to get all the alignment posts lined up so that it could go back in...... what a mess.
