It sound a little far fetched for me, I found it looking for another fixer upper to buy.

but yeah 500k seems impossible.

For kicks lets say that it was purchased at the very beginning of the 02 production run, maybe Nov 2001. From Nov 1, 2001 to now is 707 days. 505,563 miles in 707 days is about 715 miles per day. At 65mph that would be 11 hours per day.

I sure wouldn't want to drive that much per day.

 

It looks like it is in pretty good shape to have half a million miles on it.

 

I agree with cteselle, It has got to be a typo error. If someone lives in the houston area, call on it and see if it is ligit. I' am courious.

Maybe it was used for over the road long haul, team drivers. Maybe for overnight fed ex.

Honestly.... a Ford with 500,000 miles ? no way.

Pete, International, KW....... etc........ 500,000 is barely broken in and starting to get comfortable.

24 hours a day at 60mph and in transit fuel up with driver change for one year. 525,600 miles. Now then. It could have been on an emissions dyno, and the straps broke.

Agreed, I can' t imagine 500,000 on this truck. Literally impossible.

 

They probably missed the decimal point in the odo reading. Someone asked me the other day how i had 80 thousand miles in so short of a time LOL
