Cracked fog light....

Well it finally happened. After all 4 months with them. My passenger side fog light has a crack in it. You cannot tell it unless you are really close. The crack is likea 1/4 inch long. I tried to get it off with some alcohol thinking it was dirt. These are the 03 fog lights. Do you have to buy the whole lamp or can you get the lens. Plus will the crack get worse or should i just run it until I start blowing bulbs from water getting in it? It doesn't look like a rock hit the lamp it looks like heat did it. You can not see the thin crack unless you are right up on it.

Go to ford and get warranty to replace them. They only crack if you use them in the rain. Dry use and they're fine.

Mine were 1/2 full of water before it quit working.

LMAO... I doubt they are under any warranty, but I wish they were. I bought the lights from karkraft.com for $45 dollars a piece. Still can't believe i cracked one. So it would have to have a considerable amount of moisture before the bulb blows. Will it blow the fuse when the bulb blows. Thanks for the post JWLightning02.

My left OEM one has been cracked for 1 1/2 years with water in it. No blown fuse yet.

Warner Robins Ga. Your pretty close up the road. Thanks for the reply. That is good to hear. Mine hasn't got any condensation in it yet. Hopefully it will just stay sealed.
