That thing is bad ***!!!
You'd think it would run faster then a 10.55 in the 1/4 mile with 855 HP.
Not that 10.55 is slow by any means just thought it be faster I guess

That car has been around for a long time. It was up at Milan dragway a few years ago running against the Camaro SS that GM built up and this tore it apart. If I remember correctly, both cars had troubles, but in the end, the Mustang beat the Camaro... as usual.

The engine the car is supposed to be built using just parts that are available in the Ford Motorsports catalog. The car was sort of a “lets see what we can build” project. I don’t suppose anyone has a link to the list of parts?

I watched a special on that car a while back...it went head to head with GM's suped up Camaro equivalent and whooped its butt in the quarter mile, but lost in the road racing comparison due to a mechanical failure. I don't believe many of the parts are readily available, and IIRC there was a ton of custom fabrication. It is definitely a screamer. There is another super car that Ford built called the FR500 and the parts from that car are available to consumers.

doesnt 429 mean 429 cubic inches? cause that means 7 or 7.1 liters, but on the page is says 10 liters of displacement, which means roughly 600 or so cubic inches, right?

I think it's safe to assume that this is either a crate motor based on a 429 Boss but with improvements including added displacement or a 429 Boss block that has been stroked and bored. This engine is 4.6 x 4.5 while a stock 429 Boss is 4.36 x 3.59. As a matter of fact, with the throw increased that much, I would bet it is not a stock block.
