Just wanted to post this for you guys since they do sell a good amount of Lightning, Cobra and GT stuff. My experience with RPM Outlet has been for s$%t!!
I ordered a water pump/pulley kit from RPM Outlet for my 01 GT back in August. The entire kit consists of a water pump, pulley, thermostat and Gatorback belt. Some two months later, I have the water pump, JUST GOT the thermostat today and STILL don't have the Gatorback belt, all of which they happily took my money for back in August. After the 10th call, I was assured that my order would finally be complete because it was either out of stock or on back order the previous 9 times. Well guess what, still no damn belt!! Basically at this point, I just want to be reimbursed for the cost of the belt and have vowed to tell everyone that I can about this so this is one of four post on four different Ford sites.
What started my "pisdom" with RPM Outlet was back in August, I also ordered the Accufab upper intake plenum, again for which they happily took my money and said that I would get it in a week. Same day, the kid that took my order calls me back and says that the part is on "backorder." Well, being that I wanted to go straight to the source, I called Accufab and was told that the part had not even finalized flow bench testing yet and was not at all available. Pissed that I was lied to, I canceled my order and told them that it was not right for them to mislead their customers. After a few apologetic emails and phone calls, I was told that an availability disclaimer would be added to their site regarding the Accufab plenum. Didn't happen. My friend Shane, who was told when he called that it was available and they happily took his money. Some SIX WEEKS LATER, no Accufab plenum because Accufab has not even made it for sale to the public yet and according to John Mihovetz, it is still some week or two away from being for public sale. That's one h#$l of a backorder.
Take from this what you want but I will never buy from them again...

found out the hard way but with the close to 300 views of my various posts in the last 2 hours alone, I feel a little better. Also the fact that a friend of mine was about to order one of their packages for over $1,000 for his 03 Cobra but after telling him about this he is not..........

Try and support those that support you.
ya ive never had problems with them....recieved my pod and gauge quick, fast and in a hurry....shops like theirs though are a dime a dozen as far as im concerned

In my experience they have WAY too much back-ordering going on. Obviously they don't have ANY stock. What really gets me is when your order shows up missing key components and they never even notified you that they were on B/O. That is poor business. Worse yet is trying to get them to answer the phone.

i'm waiting for my belt too! 103 inch gatorback and i ordered my water pump kit in july, the hypertech thermostat i got was stuck closed, test before you install, e-mail me and i will give you a number of a place in lousiana i ended up getting my gatorbackbelt from in 2 days.
