oil gauge mod

i was trying to find the trhead about modding the factory oil press gauge to actually work using a resistor and aftermarket sender. i think i saw it on this board. anybody have a link? i am tired of my oil pressure guage look just like its painted on. i'd like a real-time gauge.

thanks

Nope

This won't work for us.

We actually have a real oil pressure sender.

The computer gets this value in then spits out a solid value for the gauge.

That's how it's been explained to me. I would love to know differently, then I could get rid of my oil pressure and get a different gauge.
