pics of my spacer and idler pulley installed

I know I've gotta get back in there and clean under the hood again. But here's some pics...

The spacer wasnt that bad to install. The hardest part was putting in the back bolt to the plenum on the drivers side. I was able to bend the egr valve with it still attached to the motor...

After I installed it, I took it for a ride. When I came home I opened the hood and I felt the blower and that was hot, and usually the plenum gets hot to. It wasnt even warm. I am real happy with the spacer. (hope it's not just a mind over matter thing)

The idler pulley is real nice to. It looks really good and it increases belt wrap a ton! Install on that wasnt to bad once I re-read the dirrections.
Thanks again Mark over at LFP for the great service as usual.
Thanks, Shane

I have a different spacer, but it is a noticable improvement.

I didn't have to remove the EGR pipe either, just bent it on the truck.

You have a '99?
so do I, maybe the egr pipe is different?

not shure but in the top pic it looks like the black plastic hose that goess form the rubber boot on the intake is undone at the conection on the valve cover. Not shure though since the EGR is in the way in the pic.

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I dont know how you saw that! It was unplugged. I dont know if I had it in loose, or if I just forgot to plug it back up. Thank you again for noticing it.
